Because I enjoy outdoor activities and knives, I have a strong interest in and passion for outdoor survival. Several years ago, I wanted to create a survival bracelet under the BASE 550 brand. First, it had to look good and be stylish; second, it had to have practical functions and core value. I didn't want it to be just an accessory; I wanted it to be an EDC (Everyday Carry) item, a life-saving tool that could accompany you on adventures and come in handy in emergencies. In survival situations, this bracelet could even be used as a bow and arrow for hunting!

➤➤Arrow:

1. 420 stainless steel (52HRC)
2. 6Al4V titanium alloy (35HRC)

Because these are worn on the body, high-carbon steel, commonly used in outdoor knives, is unsuitable. Therefore, we offer two versions: 420 stainless steel and 6Al4V titanium alloy. All points are blunted and unsharpened, ensuring safety when worn. In terms of strength, the 420 stainless steel version has undergone heat treatment, achieving a hardness of 52 HRC, while the titanium alloy version has 35 HRC, sufficient for everyday use and survival needs.

➤➤Fire and flint: Fire and flint are not affected by the climate and environment. Even if they are wet, they can still work normally and produce sparks by rubbing them with an arrow to start a fire.


▲ Survival purpose:
Arrowheads, once sharpened, can be made into bows and arrows; paracord can be used as bowstrings for hunting.

▲ Daily Use:
The pointed end of the tape on the box can be used as a simple Phillips head and flathead screwdriver, or a small scraper. Tell me more if you think of anything else.

Orvar or Örvar is a Nordic male given name, which means "arrow" in Old Norse. Örvar-Oddr ("arrow's point") is a legendary hero in a 13th-century Icelandic saga.
